Emily, I have had this same scenario at my house three times in the past week- once with red lipstick, once with a crayola (non-washable) marker and once with a dry erase marker. I should know by now that the silence is when you RUN and check on them...

OMG I love your little creations, they are adorable!!
Today (ten minutes ago actually) marked (no pun intended) my 19- month old son's first marker mayhem. Our laundry room door is now decorated with turquoise crayola. Excellent.
