let's hear it for the boys...

william edward
4:31pm 6lbs7oz 19.5 inches

calvin charles
4:29pm 5lbs13oz 19.75 inches

so sweet & so healthy
& everyone is so glad:)
kate's water broke yesterday morning
& so the boys were ready to be done
even though it was six weeks early!
they are in the nicu for now
but they are breathing on their own
& trying to nurse or bottle feed today
so hopefully they will be out soon:)

kate is a champ & she is doing well too
a bit sore & tired...
i think a few people have said, in not so many words
'the soreness will go away
but the tired is just beginning' :)

if you have some wise baby advice,
wise twin advice
or just want to wish her well
you can put it in the comments here
& i will email them to her
she will love that:)

hooray for boys!

love, auntie em:)

Oh Katie, I am so proud of you. You are so brave.
The babies are adorable. I love them so much.
Congratulations to you and Ryan.
Hooray for great grandchildren.
Calvin is number 8 and William is number 9.
How blessed I am.
Love you.

Healthy is all that matters. WOOHOO.

My cousin had twin girls, first, then two singles afterwards. Another cousin also had twins. They both said they didn't know twins were "hard" because they were first. I think every pregnancy has its hard times.

They will be best friends for life, that is the best part.

Take naps when you can get them and accept as much help as you can. Try not to blink, it will go by really, really fast!

May God bless!

Yay, CONGRATS!!
Wow, so cool and amazing how healthy and well they're doing... thank the Lord!
Hey Emily: was that a type-o on their times of birth? One was a.m. and one was p.m.??
Seems like the cards on their cribs both said p.m.
...Just curious. = )
Pass on the congrats to your sis, way to go!! She'll be in my prayers (for that pesky tiredness thing)!

Hooray Hooray!
Good Job Katie! They are so adorable and teeny. I miss the teeny stage. Can't wait to see more pics and hear more about the birth story.
My advice: just snuggle and kiss them a lot. Boys grow out of that. And take care of yourself so they can have a happy healthy mommy.
I am so excited for your new adventures and I cannot begin to express how much you are my hero for having two at once. Bless your little sweet boys and you and Ryan too!
Love you, Kel
