In fact all I had to do was go to a certain page, read and cry. 1,2,3 - it was that simple.Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07583840141441745223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16697270.post-26788775136205500622007-08-23T19:54:00.000-07:002007-08-23T19:54:00.000-07:00Em, so funny the parallels of our lives. I LOVED the library and checked out as many as I could again and again and again!

First of all: I have all of the Jennifer Weiner books and LOVE them! I love how her short stories (Goodnight Nobody) even have some of the same characters in them...

Second of all: as I was reading your blog I was thinking of the book I'm currently reading and thinking, "I am positive this is going to be a favorite of mine," and then I scroll to the bottom and lo and behold-Eat Pray Love! I can't get enough of this story.

Oh my goodness, the titles floating around my head right now! Okay: Where the Red Fern Grows in 5th grade. Changed my life! Also a series of mystery books called The Happy Hollisters. In adulthood: The Secret Life of Bees, Confessions of Max Tivoli (amazing book, by the way! Read it!)Jemima J, and I really could go on and on...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16697270.post-72023255148439892442007-08-23T01:40:00.000-07:002007-08-23T01:40:00.000-07:00Books are hard. Eight Cousins: I read that book every week for almost two years (middle school years).

3. The Dark is Rising...I still read it over and over again!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16697270.post-68228334571860505582007-08-22T21:41:00.000-07:002007-08-22T21:41:00.000-07:00You know how much I love to read. (leave the
dishes in the sink and the laundry in the hamper)
There is no way I can make a list of 3 favorite books.
I have the complete set of Little House books and have read them many times. Also a Pollyanna book
from the early 1900's.
You've seen my big boxes of paperback mysteries
and also the big bag of Christian romances as well
as all the hardbacks recently received from the
mystery book club and I still go to the library and
take out more books. A favorite - depends on which
day you ask.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16697270.post-23569729155439740832007-08-22T18:41:00.000-07:002007-08-22T18:41:00.000-07:00Well, the one's easy and I KNOW I won't ramble lik...Well, the one's easy and I KNOW I won't ramble like I did last time:

1) Anna Karenina - it just got me. I have to read it again. Dark, sad, real, moving.
2) Wind in the Willows - my heart and soul, how I view the world - the sweet simplicity of sunshine, friends and the everyday such as cheese and rivers.
3) The Lord of the Rings - transported me, truth, goodness, beauty - the good stuff.

:)Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07583840141441745223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16697270.post-39270644016044973572007-08-22T12:04:00.000-07:002007-08-22T12:04:00.000-07:00I'll take the decade approach.
